well, i have to say the seattle workshop was the best learning experience, the most fun and allround the best holiday i've ever had. Met a ton of contacts and freinds, the sheer standard of the attendees work was amazing.
There was a free spot in the instructors thunderdome so they asked for any volenteers, i raised my hand thinking a hundered people would also be raising their hands but me and another dude were the only ones, so i got the spot.
The topic was "the dream eater" had 2 hours to get something done, sounds easy until you realise theres afew hundered people over your shoulder, including all the top people in the industry. I made it into round 2 and it came down to yours truly, Jason Chan and Andrew Jones and thats as far as i got. Chan took out the prize but i cant be happier i got to draw in the event.
The workshop exceeded all my expectations on every level and i cant wait to get back to work and rock out with some of the new knowledge i've picked up.

man, that sounds friggin amazing! Congrats on getting that far. do you have a link to your entries?
My biggest regret at the workshop was probably not having raised my hand for the thunderdome. I can't believe I passed up the chance to challenge Jason Chan head to head.
